Question 03.04 Is there any evidence of animal activity in the crop that is a potential food safety risk?
Answer: Yes
Auditor Notes: Yes. During the audit turkeys were observed in the growing area, flags were place in the ranch were fecal matter was found as a "not harvest zone", done per Caitlin Soto, responsible person for ranch food safety program.
Answer:  We have fully completed the corrective action(s)
Comments: Proper buffer zones were established at the time of the audit. Harvesting company is responsible to do a risk assessment daily prior harvesting in case there's additional areas to buffer/intrusion and to respect flagged zones.

Answer: Yes
Auditor Notes: Yes. Domestic animal was observed during the audit (Dog)
Answer:  We have fully completed the corrective action(s)
Comments: We allow dogs as long as they are fenced in at the houses not the growing grounds. Corrective actions such buffer zones will be implemented in case there's any intrusion.

Auditor Notes: No. During the audit bird nest were observed in the well pump house.

Comments: It is illegal (migrotory bird act) to take down barn swallows' nests once they have been started.

Auditor Notes: No. Toilet not clean at the time of the visit. Toilets are rented to an external company, records of cleaning are available for review.

Comments: Contracted toilet company was called to service ranch unit and reminded to record service date on log behind unit door.
