Answer: Yes

Auditor Notes: Yes. There was animal tracks inside growing area on the west side Ranch RU173A-14.

Answer:  We have fully completed the corrective action(s)

Comments: Coyote tracks were observed in the growing area. The area was inspected and concluded that it was free of any further animal intrusion and no domestic animals live near the growing area. The block was soon to be finished growing therefore fencing was not implemented. The block will continue to be monitored throughout the season to ensure ranch safety.

Question 04.02a Have physical measures been put in place to restrain domestic animals, grazing lands, (includes homes with hobby farms, and non commercial livestock) and their waste from entering the growing area (e.g. vegetative strips, wind breaks, physical barriers, berms, fences, diversion ditches.)?

Answer: No

Auditor Notes: No. Growing area is not fenced.

Answer:  We have fully completed the corrective action(s)

Comments: Fencing has not been placed completely around the block due to the lack of animal activity. TopFlavor Farms has individuals who work hard to prevent bird and animal activity around the growing area with noise makers and mylar streamers. The block will continue to be monitored to ensure product safety.

Comments: Animals will have potential access to the irrigation water as it is an open water system that travels through the valley.

Question 09.03 Are entrances to ranch-level roads restricted by gates, chains, guard stations, etc.?

Answer: No

Auditor Notes: No. It was observed ranch did not have a gate at the entrance.

Answer:  We will partially complete or not complete corrective action(s)

Comments: The main entrance to the ranch is a county road which the water district uses frequently, therefore making it difficult to gate off. Other entrances to the ranch are gated and locked at night.
