Coyote tracks were observed in the growing area. The area was inspected and concluded that it was free of any further animal intrusion and no domestic animals live near the growing area. The block will continue to be monitored throughout the season to ensure ranch safety,

Fencing has not been placed completely around the block due to the rarity of animal activity. TopFlavor Farms has individuals who work hard to prevent bird and animal activity around the growing area with noise makers and mylar streamers. The block will continue to be monitored to ensure product safety.

The main entrance to the ranch is a county road which the water district uses frequently, therefore making it difficult to gate off. Other entrances to the ranch are gated and locked at night.
