In order to complete an audit using our Online Audit Program you must first register.
You may choose to register as Self-Auditor or as an Independently Contracted Auditor (see definition below). To register as a Primuslabs
Auditor or Subcontractor you must have prior password authorization. You can update or amend your information by choosing "Update Profile."
Types of Auditor:
Regional Independent Verifier 
Personalized Food Safety Plan Verification Reports are carried out by Regional Independent
Verifiers or Second Party Verifiers participating in the Local Farmer food safety initiative.
These Verifiers are training by various training partners including multiple State Deparments of Agriculture.
Personalized Food Safety Plan Verification Reports conducted by these Verifiers may be
subject to review by participating training entities.
PrimusLabs Contracted Audits
Audits are carried out by PrimusLabs own staff.
PrimusLabs staff are trained on hiring, attend ongoing training, communicate with colleagues and their reports are subject to the review system.
Contracted audit reports will state "Contract" in the title and the report will also bear the PrimusLabs logo.
PrimusLabs Subcontracted Audits
Audits are carried out on behalf of
PrimusLabs by a Third Party Auditor Network User i.e. sub-contracted by PrimusLabs to an
existing Third Party Auditor Network User. PrimusLabs decides which Third Party Auditor Network Users to sub-contract
audits to based on the individual Third Party Auditor Network Users abilities, location and past track
record. Third Party Auditor Network Users chosen for sub-contracting work have passed the online exam,
have attended a training seminar, receive update e-mails and have shadowed
PrimusLabs auditors. Subcontractor's audit reports are subject to the review
system.
Sub-contract audit reports will state "Sub-Contract" in the title
and the report will also bear the PrimusLabs logo.
Independently Contracted Audits
Audits are carried by Third Party Auditor Network Users using PrimusLabs system but have not been sub-contracted
by PrimuLabs.com. Third Party Auditor Network Users obtain work for themselves and utilize the PrimusLabs online
auditing database.
Third Party Auditor Network Users must complete the online training and exam. Third Party Auditor Network Users should not be the first party
or second party operators. Third Party Auditor Network Users who are not used for sub-contracting do not have to attend
the training seminar and do not have to shadow or be shadowed. Many Third Party Auditor Network Users do attend the
training sessions as part of their education and understanding of the systems. Independently
contracted audits are not subject to the Audit Report Review System.
Third Party Auditor Network User audit reports that have not been sub-contracted by PrimusLabs, will state
"Independently Contracted" in the title and they will not bear the PrimusLabs logo.
Self-Audit
Audits are carried out by individuals who have downloaded or utilized online versions of the
PrimusLabs audits. Auditors might be using PrimusLabs audit templates to
carry out internal audits, pre-audits, their own procurement audits or maybe used by consultants.
Self-audits may be done as a first, second or third party.
Self-auditors do not have to take the Third Party Auditor Network User auditor's exam and do have to be third parties.
Self auditors usually do not receive any formal training from PrimusLabs, but if they wish,
they can attend events. Self-auditors who opt to use the online audit templates (as opposed to
downloaded pdf, excel files etc.) can submit their report to the PrimusLabs database for
storage, but their reports are not subject to the report review system.
Self-audit reports have "Self-Audit" in the title and will not bear the PrimusLabs logo.
